- Well, Mimi...I am hooked! I loved delivering the LINC Meals today. Sweet little folks and Florence is a bird! She is such a jewel to everyone! She showed me the ropes and I hated it when the adventure ended. I am looking forward to serving!
LINC Home Delivered Meals
- Delivers a nutritionally balanced hot noon meal Monday through Friday to the home bound of Lincoln County,over 16,000 in 2017
- Uses the services of over 300
- volunteer drivers to deliver meals
- Provides daily contact by a caring volunteer
- Provides subsidy or sponsorship for those who cannot pay for their meals
DRIVERS ARE SCHEDULED ONCE A MONTH WITH FLEXIBILITY TO WORK WITH YOUR SCHEDULE.
DRIVERS ARE TRAINED ON THEIR ROUTE BEFORE BEGINNING.
To receive meals, a home visit is completed by the LINC coordinator, a diet order is requested from the recipient's primary doctor, and if financial aid is needed, a financial analysis will be completed.
