Christian Ministry partners with member churches and Second Harvest Food Bank to  give out food  at different churches .

To receive this food, a person will need to sign the TEFAP FORM, that will be provided at the give away.

Purpose of Emergency Services: To aide/assist clients with emergency needs.

The Ministry depends on donations to meet the needs of the community.

ASSISTANCE IS GIVEN EVERY 30 DAYS

  • This is with the understanding that a client's timing of food /financial/household items/clothing needs might not be the same.

  

Client can:

o Answer TEFAP form questions during interview and receive food

o This is not the whole amount of food that we give


TEFAP FORM

ITEMS NEEDED TO RECEIVE COMPLETE FOOD ALLOTMENT/FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

  

TO RECEIVE ALL FOOD AVAILABLE/HOUSEHOLD ITEMS/CLOTHING/FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WITH UTILITIES, RENT, MEDICINE, KEROSENE, ETC.


   Client will need to show:

· PROOF OF ADDRESS, SUCH AS RECENT BILL WITH NAME/ADDRESS ON IT

· PROOF OF INCOME FOR EVERYONE IN THE HOME

· SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS (OR DOCUMENT WITH THE NUMBER ON IT) FOR EVERYONE IN THE HOME (Tax Identification number will work, if someone does not have either, we will work with them)  


IF SOMEONE DOES NOT HAVE ALL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

IF A CLIENT DOES NOT HAVE ALL THEIR INFORMATION, WE WILL WORK WITH THEM UNTIL THEY HAVE HAD TIME TO GATHER THAT INFORMATION.


UTILITIES

HELP WITH UTILITIES IS GIVEN ONCE EVERY 3 MONTHS.
